Explore a thrilling opportunity with our newest venture, Wake Forest Health Network – Primary Care Sports Medicine Friendly Center! We are actively seeking talented Primary Care Sports Medicine Physicians to join our dynamic team in Greensboro, North Carolina.

This is a unique chance to lead a new clinic and provide outstanding care to the Greensboro community. Ideal for Family Medicine physicians looking for a 50/50 mix of primary care and sports medicine, this role offers a balanced and rewarding practice.

Key Highlights:

  • Located in the heart of Greensboro, NC
  • Minimum one year of experience in a primary care setting required

Schedule:

  • 100% Outpatient only.
  • Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm and Saturday, 8:00am-12:00pm.
  • Full-time providers work 36 patient-facing hours, 4 administrative hours.
  • Telephone only call rotating between providers.

Education, Experience, and Certification Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree
  • Board Certified in Family Medicine
  • Added Certification in Sports Medicine (CAQ in Sports Medicine required)
  • Successful record of clinical and service excellence
  • North Carolina medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure

Licensure, Certification, and Registration:

  • Current M.D. or D.O. license in the State of North Carolina
  • Board certification in primary care or related field from an accredited residency program
  • Certification in BCLS and ACLS (required if stress tests are performed or as required by specialty)
  • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
  • Department of Drug Control (if applicable)
