ACADEMIC TRANSPLANT INTENSIVIST
MEDICAL COLLEGE OF WISCONSIN/FROEDTERT TRANSPLANT CENTER- MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN
The Medical College of Wisconsin, Department of Surgery has an opening for an academic intensivist focused on solid organ transplantation. This position is being recruited at the Assistant or Associate Professor level (more experienced physicians also welcomed). The successful candidate will have a primary appointment in the Division of Trauma/Acute Care Surgery with a secondary appointment in the Division of Transplant Surgery. Prior training in surgery is not required and we welcome those with a background in Medicine, Anesthesia, or Emergency Medicine.

The Transplant ICU service admits pre- and post- transplant patients. The program supports a cutting edge surgical critical care fellowship and 24/7 APP coverage. The clinical schedule provides flexibility and ensures time for academic pursuits. The Division of Trauma/Acute Care Surgery provides a robust research infrastructure that supports clinical faculty.
