As a urologist and officer on the U.S. Army healthcare team, you will be at the forefront of advanced procedures, work in state-of-the-art medical facilities with some of the most innovative equipment used in your specialty. You will lead a well-trained team who examine, diagnose and evaluate a course of surgeries and treatments for a diverse patient base, while feeling none of the distractions found in a civilian practice, such as office management, malpractice or overhead. Active Duty (Full-Time)
Loan Repayment: Receive $120,000 in student loan repayment in $40,000 annual payments to qualifying federal student loans paid directly to the lending institution through the Active Duty Health Professions Loan Repayment Program (ADHPLRP).
Incentive Pay: $51,000 annually plus eligibility to receive a retention bonus following required training.
Location: Over 40 locations stateside and several more overseas, including Hawaii, Alaska, Italy, Germany, and Korea.
Time Off: 30 days paid vacation annually plus over 20 days for federal holidays and "Days of no Scheduled Activities."

Army Reserve (Part-time)
Loan Repayment: Receive $250,000 in student loan repayment in $40,000 annual payments to qualifying federal student loans paid directly to the lending institution through the Health Professions Loan Repayment Program (HPLRP).
Incentive Pay: $45,000 paid annually for 2, 3, or 4 years. Must have completed a residency program in your specialty.
Specialized Training Assistance: Monthly stipend while enrolled in an accredited residency program. Recipients must be a U.S. citizen and will serve in the Army Reserve after completing residency.

Doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy; foreign graduates may apply if they have a permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates.
Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico.
U.S. citizenship or Permanent Residence (Reserve only).
