Practice Overview:

Located on the main campus of Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC), Laurelwood (54 beds) provides a broad range of services for adolescents and adults experiencing mental health or substance abuse problems. Laurelwood offers a variety of treatment options including: detoxification, inpatient treatment, day partial treatment, intensive outpatient treatment and aftercare support.

•         Primary Outpatient Clinic and Hospital are in Gainesville, GA (45 mins NE of Atlanta)
•         Additional office in Buford, GA for this position.
•         8am-5pm Monday – Friday
•         ECT and TMS coming soon
•         General & Geriatric Psychiatry opportunities
•         Large Referral Network Including Primary Care and Other Specialists·              Level I Trauma Center
•         EMR Platform - EPIC
•         NGHS currently has GME programs in IM, FM, GS, EM and PSY, plus Cardiology and Palliative Fellowships.
