Indian Health Service is seeking a Full-Time Radiologist in downtown Phoenix, Arizona.

This is an excellent opportunity for a radiologist who desires a good quality of life in a pleasant working environment.

We are a group of 4 radiologists in a general radiology practice which includes Radiography and Fluoroscopy, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography, DEXA, and likely MRI in the near future. Prefer that an applicant have expertise in all of these areas, but mammography and MRI are not required. No nuclear medicine or interventional radiology.

The workload is primarily from a busy ED and outpatient clinics. The workload is moderate and the working environment much less stressful than in many hospitals and imaging centers. We work weekdays only, with a nighthawk service covering the rest of the time. There is a very collegial working relationship with technologists and referring staff, along with excellent support of physicians from hospital administration.

We have a new multi-slice CT scanner. All ultrasound, radiography, R & F, and portable units will be replaced with state-of-the-art equipment in 2023.
