Job Summary:
Responsible for providing coordinated and quality primary care services to patients utilizing the clinical services of Community Health & Wellness Center (CHWC). Clinical services provided shall include routine and appropriate ambulatory adult, pediatric, and gynecological care as assigned. The Physician will be knowledgeable about agency and clinical policies, keep all patient information confidential, and shall assume responsibility for the development and realization of an individual ongoing care plan for all patients including the performance of selected procedures.
Experience in primary care setting preferred. Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Interest in serving low income-multicultural populations. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span. Ability to identify and categorize each patient’s age specific grouping of needs, such as those for infant, adolescent or geriatric patients. The ability to establish and maintain collegial relationships with coworkers, and to function in a calm manner during stressful and emergency situations. Demonstrates flexibility and resilience in response to changing clinical or administrative environments. Must have valid driver’s license from State of residence. Must be able to transport oneself within the service area.
