Outpatient Psychiatry Opportunity – Toledo, Ohio

Mercy Health Physicians is seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our dedicated team within an Integrated Behavioral Health/Primary Care model. This full-time, employed position offers an exceptional opportunity to provide high-quality outpatient care in a collaborative environment.

Opportunity Details:

  • Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with a potential option for 4-day work week)
  • Average 10-12 patients per day
  • Flexibility in weekly scheduling, with some telemedicine capability for virtual visits
  • Ambulatory care only—no inpatient or on-call responsibilities
  • Integrated within 1-2 Mercy primary care offices in Toledo area.
  • Ongoing referrals from PCP practices, with some patient panel absorption
  • Board Certification or Eligibility required, familiarity with integrated behavioral health preferred.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health disorders.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to build rapport with patients and deliver compassionate care in an outpatient setting.
  • Familiarity with integrated care models and working within a primary care environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work with diverse patient populations.
  • Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR)
  • Ability to effectively manage patient caseloads while maintaining high standards of care.
