POSITION SUMMARY

Springfield Neurological Institute is a private physician group who is contracted with CoxHealth, one of the largest hospitals in the area. Springfield Neurological Institute is seeking a full-time, board certified or board eligible Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician to join us for a practice that treats patients with disorders in the muscles and nervous system including neck/back pain, sports and work injuries.  Our physiatrists treat patients only in the out-patient clinical setting (no in-patient responsibilities) which includes medical legal opportunities, fluoro and ultrasound guided procedures, electro-diagnostic testing, PRP, and spine injections.  This opportunity is a full-time, partnership-track position, working 5 days a week.   Requirements

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clinical care in Neuro, Ortho, and Work Related Injury in out-patient setting (No in-patient responsibilities.)
• Perform Fluoro and Ultrasound guided procedures, Electro-Diagnostic testing, Spine and PRP injections
• Participate in very limited call rotation
• Medical legal ratings and evaluations

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, Board-certified or Board-eligible and residency trained in the practice of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
