Psychiatry & Behavioral Health Institute - IP Geriatric Psychiatry - Pittsburgh, Allegheny Valley Hospital

The Allegheny Health Network is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to provide adult, geriatric IP psychiatric services for a 16 bed in-patient unit at Allegheny Valley Hospital. This is an opportunity for  motivated individuals to join a team who want to be at the forefront of psychiatric care.  Provide prevention, evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of mental and emotional disorders for an elderly population. Focus on the psychiatric effect of acute and chronic physical illness, as well as the biological and psychosocial aspects associated with older age. Join a vertically-integrated fiscal and clinical delivery system that is revolutionizing behavioral health service models, providing evidence-based treatments, and measurement-based care.

Qualifications

• Must be board eligible/certified
• Geriatric Fellowship training preferred
• Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
• DEA and CPR Certification required prior to employment
