Hematology/Oncology Position with The Cancer Center at Harrington

Harrington HealthCare is seeking a full-time Hematologist/Oncologist to join The Cancer Center at Harrington team.

The Cancer Center at Harrington is a two-story, oncology and hematology center located at 55 Sayles Street on the main Harrington Hospital campus in Southbridge.

The center is jointly operated by 21st Century Oncology and services are extremely comprehensive, tailored to each patient’s individual needs and treatment plan.

The first floor offers the latest in radiology treatments, such as Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) and Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), which focuses the radiation treatment on the tumor and spares the normal tissue.

The second floor offers infusion and chemotherapy services, hematology services, care management and many other support services. The second floor of the center is also where patients can be seen for pain management and palliative care.

Requirements:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
• Active Massachusetts Medical License or in process
• Active Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration or in process
• Active Federal DEA Registration or in process

• UrgentCare Express at Harrington serves as a walk-in medical center for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, open seven days per week in Oxford;
• The Cancer Center at Harrington in Southbridge allows patients to receive advanced, local oncological and hematology care, including chemotherapy, radiation and pain management. The service is joint venture partner with 21^st Century Oncology.
