Robust multispecialty neuroscience group seeks to add physicians to a growing neuroscience presence at Banner Desert Medical Center. The practice can accommodate full-time outpatient as well as an inpatient neurologist or hybrid model. One of the largest stroke centers in Phoenix, positions also accommodates physicians interested in stroke and inpatient service. Leadership opportunities are available as we transition into a comprehensive stroke center. Outpatient services, EEG & EMG are readily available as a large patient base can be established relatively quickly.

Position requirements and details:

  • BC/BE General Neurology - Fellowship training required 
  • Subspecialty outpatient opportunities and neuro-hospitalist positions 
  • Experienced physicians and recent graduates are encouraged to apply 
  • Average clinic patient load: 15/day 
  • Experienced Neurologists & New Grads encouraged to apply
  • Graduating Resident or Fellow? Receive a $1,500/monthly stipend when you sign early!
  • Loan repayment up to $100K for qualifying residents/fellows

Current Neuroscience Team includes:

  • General OP Neurologist 
  • Hybrid Neurologist, covering both inpatient & outpatient 
  • Neuro Hospitalist Two Endovascular specialists (Neurologist & Neurosurgery) 
  • 5 Neurology APPs

The city has numerous historic areas including the Temple District. This area of town surrounds the Later Day Saints(LDS or Mormon) Temple, which was built in 1927. The temple and its visitor's center attract more than two million visitors each year. ?Other area attractions include the many museums and art galleries, year-round golfing, and historic Hohokam Indian sites. Spend an evening with the Mesa Symphony Orchestra or attending a play performed by the Southwest Shakespeare Company.
