Job Description

The Outer Banks Hospital, in Nags Head, NC, is seeking a BE/BC Emergency Medicine Physician to help provide coverage for their team.  Physician must have an active NC License and DEA. New Physicians will need to come in the day before scheduled shifts for orientation.

Coverage Needed:
May 22-23 (9:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Starting June 5th – August 31st every other week Thursday-Sunday (9:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Starting June 13th – Sept 8th every other week Friday-Monday (9:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

 

Details:

  • Accepting ABPS/ABFM/ABIM with certifications ACLS, ATLS, PALS
  • Inpatient only – No call
  • Avg# volumes per day – output 100 or 1.8 patients per hour
  • Avg# inpatient census: 20
  • ICU/critical care duties: yes
  • Will respond to codes: yes
  • Protocol for afterhours admissions in hospital: Hospitalist
  • Procedures: Standard EM procedures
