Central Michigan University (CMU) College of Medicine and CMU Health, in conjunction with Covenant HealthCare is seeking a full-time BC/BE Pediatric Rheumatologist to join the Pediatrics Department. This position is best suited for candidates who are at the assistant or associate professor level, but all ranks will be considered. A leadership role will be considered for those with the requisite experience; all faculty are appointed through Central Michigan University College of Medicine. CMU Health sponsors eight residency programs including pediatrics. Our academic faculty consists of qualified professionals who are dedicated to undergraduate and graduate medical education and providing excellent care to the communities we serve. This role includes resident and medical student education.
CMU Health in partnership with Covenant HealthCare is growing a pediatric residency program and the complementary pediatric specialties. Our combined efforts focus on providing care for both the pediatric inpatient service and the ambulatory setting. We serve patients from a large geographic region of over 20 counties. There is a vast primary care referral network to support this position. Position Description: The Department of Pediatrics at CMU Health is seeking faculty members specializing in Pediatric Rheumatology. Our rapidly growing pediatric department is seeking candidates who have exemplary clinical skills and a strong interest in teaching. Candidate must be able to obtain a Michigan license and be interested in scholarly activities.
