Munson Healthcare is offering a fantastic full-time job opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible* Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Internal Medicine/Pediatric physician to join the growing practice at Grayling Community Health Center in Grayling, Michigan. The ideal candidate will be joining a team of experienced, friendly, and highly motivated healthcare providers, clinicians, and support staff who are dedicated to delivering excellent care to their patients and community.
Details:
- Full-time - 36 hours of scheduled direct office patient care time per week, as defined by the start of the first scheduled appointment to the start of the last scheduled appointment.
- Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30am to 5pm
- Call: Rotated; After hours coverage for patients for 5 practices, shared amongst 16 providers
- Board Certification required within 5 years of Residency Program Completion.

- As a health care provider, primary responsibility of the physician is to promote and maintain health in all age populations; and to prevent disease and illness exacerbation.
- Assists in policy and procedure development for OMH Medical Group operations and clinical interventions.
- Maintains visibility within the community as a primary health care provider. Serves as a role model to clinic staff, faculty, and the community at large.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications & Education / Training:
- MD or DO
- Successful completion of an approved U.S. Residency training program approved by the Accrediting Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) of the American Medical Association, or the American Osteopathic Association or its equivalent.
- Certification, Licensure, Registration:
- Board eligible/certified for Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Internal Medicine/Pediatric Medicine practice in the State of Michigan
- Other qualifications:
- Candidate must apply for and be granted applicable clinical privileges through MHC’s credentialing processes before rendering services.
- Good judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to make quality, independent medical decisions.
- Time management and organizational skills.
