Harbor Point Behavioral Health Center is currently seeking a PRN and/or weekend coverage Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for our Residential Treatment facility. Join our team and contribute to a supportive and caring environment where professional and personal growth opportunities abound.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct admission evaluations, medication management, and direct patient care.
- Manage a caseload primarily focused on children and adolescents aged 5-17 with diverse psychiatric treatment issues.
Qualifications:
- MD/DO degree from an accredited program.
- Board certification or eligibility in Child Psychiatry.
- Licensed to practice in the State of Virginia or eligibility to obtain a VA medical license.
- Minimum of 4 years of practice/training experience.
- Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary and benefits for part-time hours.
- Options for contract work, including competitive hourly rates or fee-for-service.
Education, Training & Experience:
- MD/DO degree from an accredited program required.
- Board certified or Board Eligible in C/A Psychiatry.
- Licensed to practice in the State of Virginia or the ability to obtain a VA medical license.
- Minimum of 4 years of practice/training experience.
- Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians.
