The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, a member of the Steward Health Care system, is seeking a full-time BC/BE OB/GYN to join our Laborist team. This position will serve the practice at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center. St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is comprised of a team of general Ob/Gyn providers three sub-specialties including, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, urogynecology, and gynecologic oncology.
St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center is located in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston, near some of Boston’s major universities. The hospital serves a diverse patient population from the Boston area and beyond. St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center serves as the tertiary care hospital for Steward Health Care in Massachusetts and is a teaching hospital of Boston University School of Medicine and Tufts University School of Medicine. This position features a medical school Faculty appointment commensurate with background and experience. The St. Margaret’s Center for Women and Infants at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center offers an intimate, personalized patient care experience with expert doctors, physician assistants, nurse midwives, and nurses.

Neonatal Care (NICU) The level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center is one of only a handful of units in Boston that provide the most advanced evidence-based care and technology for premature and critically ill newborns. St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center offers world-class care for newborns through a clinical collaboration with Mass General for Children, a nationally recognized leader in comprehensive newborn medicine. The NICU is staffed 24/7 by Mass General Hospital for Children physicians. Patients have access to in house Mass General for Children pediatricians around the clock, seven days a week.
