The Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group Radiology are seeking a full-time ABR fellowship trained Pediatric Interventional Radiologist to join our expanding subspecialized practice of six pediatric radiologists and one pediatric neuroradiologist. The pediatric radiology group interprets over 100,000 pediatric studies per year. AdventHealth Medical Group Radiology has 150 radiologists and provides a total of approximately two million exams annually.
This position will allow for the unique opportunity to fully develop the pediatric interventional radiology program at AdventHealth for Children. Extensive support from the administrative and operational teams of both AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group Radiology will be provided. The physician will have access to state-of-the-art equipment in a recently updated fluoroscopy suite, dedicated clinic space/time, and advanced practice provider support. Rotations occur at a single hospital site in central Orlando, and pediatric interventional call is covered by the adult IR section.

Our Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children is a full service, tertiary children’s hospital with over 200 dedicated pediatric beds, more than 30 pediatric ICU beds (including a dedicated pediatric CICU) a 17-bed pediatric emergency department, and a thriving 150 bed NICU (with a recent expansion in 2017). There are several extremely successful pediatric subspecialty programs, and our newest program has brought pediatric liver transplant services to Central Florida. AdventHealth for Children began a comprehensive pediatric open heart surgery program in 2012, and we have a strong track record of positive outcomes. We also have several key destination programs including our level IV Epilepsy program, the region’s only BMT unit, and a solid organ transplant program (including kidney and liver).
