Pediatric Plastic Surgeon

The Section of Plastic and Craniofacial Surgery is seeking an experienced pediatric craniofacial plastic surgeon to join our team of professionals who are committed to providing excellent care in a supportive environment. This surgeon’s practice will emphasize primary and secondary cleft and craniofacial deformities. The candidate must be experienced in orthognathic surgery. Children’s Mercy has well-staffed cleft and craniofacial multidisciplinary programs at both our Missouri and Kansas medical centers in the KC metro area, including a full-time craniofacial orthodontist and two research assistants.

The candidate accepting this position will be responsible for an active clinical and surgical practice, as well as teaching medical students, plastic surgery residents, and oral surgery residents. If desired, a research interest will be fostered by the section and in conjunction with the new, state-of-the-art Children’s Mercy Research Institute. Academic appointments are through the University of Missouri at Kansas City, and the University of Kansas. We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
