Position Overview:

Klickitat Valley Health is seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join our Family Medicine team. This full-time role provides primary care in a well-supported environment, with:

• 4-day workweek
• daily patient volume of 14-17
• Team of 4 Physicians, 10 mid-level providers, and a supportive administrative staff, including a Medical Director, Clinical Manager, and Office Support Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care in the Family Medicine Clinic.
• Mentor and guide staff, including mid-level providers, to ensure high standards of medical care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and specialists, managing referrals and consultations.
• Prescribe medications and educate patients on their diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventative care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure efficient use of the Meditech Expanse EMR system.
• Assess and provide feedback to staff on performance and professional development.
• Stay current with continuing education requirements and maintain up-to-date certifications.

Qualifications:

• MD/DO from an accredited medical or osteopathic school with an active Washington State medical license.
• Board Certified in Family Medicine.
• Current federal and state DEA registration; active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• At least one year of recent full-time experience in an outpatient or acute care setting.
• Basic proficiency in EMR systems; familiarity with Meditech Expanse is a plus.
• Strong commitment to compassionate, ethical patient care and customer service.
