Wake Forest School of Medicine, located in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a full-time faculty to join us in the Neuroradiology Section within the Department of Radiology.

The Department of Radiology, Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center is seeking a full-time radiologist, interested in pursuing an academic career in Neuroradiology at the rank of Assistant Professor.  This faculty position will include clinical duties, teaching, and academic research. Breakdown of duties will be dependent on the track the faculty member is hired. Clinical duties will include all aspects of diagnostic neuroradiology and head and neck radiology including, but not exclusive to CT, MRI, ultrasound and myelography. Call responsibilities will be defined by staffing levels and will be assigned by the section chief. Teaching assignments include medical student, resident, fellow and other department trainees as appropriate.

We provide an optimal environment for the education of our trainees, staff, and healthcare professionals through scholarly conferences, tumor board conferences and continuing education programs. There is ample opportunity for research and collaboration with colleagues and clinical providers.

Requirements:

  • MD or DO Degree required Board certified or board eligible in diagnostic radiology and certified or eligible for Neuroradiology subspecialty certificate ("CAQ").
  • Fellowship training in Neuroradiology (2 year Neuroradiology fellowship) and Nuclear Radiology, with Theranostics experience required.
  • North Carolina Medical License or Eligible
