Glaucoma Specialist

Retina Vitreous Associates s a busy, well established group of ophthalmologists, complemented by a staff of eye care professionals to provide multi-specialty services to the greater Hampton Roads  area and surrounding communities.  We are searching for a fellowship trained Glaucoma specialist, interested in anterior segment and cataracts, with exceptional surgical skills and the talent to develop and maintain excellent relationships with our referring physicians, as well as functioning comfortably with clinical and surgical demand.  We have immediate patient volumes combined with an established referral base to create an exceptional opportunity.

The greater Toledo area is located at the mouth of the Maumee River and Lake Erie.  This community features top ranked schools, both public and private, award winning Metro parks, and a wide variety of cultural activities.  Known as “The Glass City,” Toledo is world headquarters to Libbey Glass and Owens Corning, who sponsors an LPGA tournament locally each year.  The Toledo Art Museum houses over 30,000 objects of Art including major collections of glass art, as well as classrooms for the Art Department at the University of Toledo.  The Toledo Symphony and the Toledo Ballet perform at the Stranahan Theatre, which also hosts a traveling series of Broadway performances.  The Toledo Zoo is nestled along the banks of the Maumee River, home to a wide variety of animals as well as a Sunday evening concert series in the summer months.  The Toledo Mud Hens baseball team and the Toledo Walleyes hockey team are also at home here.
