We're seeking passionate, mission-driven Oncologists to join our physician-led multispecialty group. With over 500 providers, at Saint Alphonsus we take a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Our practice is QOPI certified and accredited with the Commission on Cancer through the American College of Physicians.
As part of our team, you'll work alongside a robust team of hematology/oncology physicians, bringing cutting-edge treatments to our communities. Our integrated program boasts leading surgical expertise, including the State's only fellowship-trained surgical oncologist. We also take pride in our innovative programs, including lung cancer screening, lung nodule clinic, advancements in neuro oncology, and robust clinical trials through the Montana Cancer Consortium.

Requirements for this opportunity include: a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree; successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency and a Hematology Oncology fellowship; Board Certification in Internal Medicine, as well as Hematology Oncology – or obtain such certification within three years of employment; obtain Oregon and Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SAMC – Nampa, SARMC – Boise and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed; valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA.

Saint Alphonsus Cancer Institute is comprised of clinic-based practices across southwestern Idaho and eastern Oregon to include the following current locations: a free-standing Cancer Care Center in Caldwell, Idaho; Cancer Care Centers on Saint Alphonsus hospital campuses in Boise and Nampa, Idaho and Ontario and Baker City, Oregon; and a Saint Alphonsus Rural Cancer Care Clinic based on the campus of Walter Knox Memorial Hospital in Emmett, Idaho.
The Saint Alphonsus Cancer Institute is accredited by the American College of Surgeons as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program. The Commission on Cancer (CoC) of the American College of Surgeons (ACoS) granted the Saint Alphonsus Cancer Institute the Outstanding Achievement Award in 2013; the Saint Alphonsus Cancer Institute is among only 19% of the programs surveyed who achieved this prestigious distinction. Moreover, the program became Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI) certified in 2014.
The Saint Alphonsus Cancer Institute also collaborates with the Michigan Cancer Research Consortium, a research cooperative group administered by our Trinity Health partner, St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
