The Department of Pediatrics, Section of Pediatric Nephrology at Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution, and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for the full-time faculty position of Pediatric Nephrologist.

At Rush University Children’s Hospital pediatric nephrology and pediatric urology evaluate patients in our active Fetal and Neonatal Medicine Center, our 60 bed NICU, 18 bed PICU with ECMO and 20 bed general pediatric unit. There are also busy outpatient nephrology clinics on the Rush campus as well as outreach to our partner campus of Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora. Our pediatric nephrology section provides care to infants, children, and adolescents with both congenital and acquired renal disease, including provision of inpatient renal replacement therapy (CRRT, PD, and HD). The ideal candidate will possess an unyielding commitment to clinical care, collaboration, education, and research. Qualified candidates must have completed an ACGME-accredited pediatric nephrology fellowship program and be BE/BC in Pediatric Nephrology Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics.
