Job Summary:

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is assisting a well-established OBGYN group with the recruitment of an additional physician due to growth and physician phasing out obstetrics

Qualified Candidates:
  • Board eligible or board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Join a practice with nine providers including three physicians and five Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs).
  • Maintain traditional office hours.
  • Perform deliveries at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital, which boasts a Level III NICU.
  • Practice call is shared among the providers with first call being 95% covered by the midwives.
  • No facility call required, as the hospital relies on an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program for ER call coverage.

  • Offers a wide range of gynecological procedures from in-office treatments to surgical services
  • Provides compassionate care through every step of a patient’s pregnancy and are comfortable handling all aspects of high-risk pregnancies while working with hospital staffed MFM group. 
  • Main practice location is housed on the first floor of North Florida Regional Medical Center with a satellite location just north of Gainesville in Lake City, Florida for patient convenience
