St. Peters Health Partners Medical Associates is seeking to recruit a full-time Hematologist Oncologist to serve as Medical Director for our outstanding and well-established Cancer Care program at St. Peter’s and Samaritan Hospital in Albany and Troy, New York.

Our multi-site practice has two beautiful locations, both located on hospital campuses. The cancer program at St. Peter’s Health Partners includes not only hematology oncology but also radiation oncology, a full suite of surgical services, full radiologic services, and complimentary services as well.

The Medical Director will lead a team of four physicians and six advanced practitioners. The practice has access to a tumor boards program, grand rounds, and treats a wide range of cancers including ample access to high quality surgical services; from breast to thoracic to hepatobiliary/pancreatic care.

St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates is a leader in the New York Capital Region for Cancer Care. We are Accredited as a Comprehensive, Community-based Cancer Care Program by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer® (since 1985).

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should have the following:

  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine
  • Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology
  • DEA Licensure/NYS licensure required.
  • Applicants should be interested in providing both oncological and hematological care.

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE

St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates, P.C. offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes:

  • Compensation is between $ $502,080-$569,000 per year.
  • The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance, and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
