This position offers the security of joining an established health system with the lifestyle of practicing medicine in a comfortable and close-knit community.
You’ll join a reputable practice providing patient care in a team-based environment with an established panel of services. Practice in a collaborative setting with two APPs and a team of nurses, techs, access representative and a clinic manager. Work performance includes all phases of family practice, office, hospital, and local nursing home rounds. Physician co-manages, observes, supports, and advises/consults on patients cared for by the family nurse practitioners.

UMKC School of Medicine
In January 2021, the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Medicine announced its program expansion to Mosaic Life Care at St. Joseph, Medical Center, to help address the state’s rural physician shortage.
UMKC received a $7 million grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to start the new program. HRSA, the primary federal agency for improving access to health-care services for people who are uninsured, isolated or medically vulnerable, will pay out the grant over four years.
