Saint Joseph Physician Network (SJPN) has an excellent full time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Infectious Disease physician to join an established practice located in Mishawaka, Indiana. 

The selected physician will join two full time and one part time Infectious Disease physicians. This is a community based practice conveniently located in a modern Medical Office Building adjacent to hospital.  Practice is consultative in nature; members see both inpatients and outpatients. The selected candidate can expect to see basic pathologies such as HIV, MRSA, cellulitis, osteomyelitis, septic joint, meningitis, diabetic foot infection, bacteriema, and abscesses.

The team participates in and directs the hospital's Infection Prevention, Infection Control, and Sepsis Programs/Committees. Opportunities for teaching exist with hospital's family medicine residents.

Office is closed every Friday afternoon. Weekend call for this opportunity is 1:4.

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE

Saint Joseph Physician Network is offering an excellent compensation package for the right physician including:

  • Competitive salary range in line with MGMA standards; based on production and achievement of value driven quality metrics.

  • Malpractice paid by corporation, including tail.
  • 27 days off per year; 7 holidays, 5 days and $3,000 for CME.
  • $3,000 per year for professional journals, dues, and memberships.
