Steward Health Care is currently seeking per diem physicians at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center’s Comprehensive Addictions Program (SECAP). In congruent with the mission, values and vision of Steward St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, SECAP is committed to providing the highest standard of treatment for alcoholism and drug addiction through excellence in patient care. Moonlighting opportunities available.

SECAP, founded in 1976, is Boston’s oldest hospital-based program for alcohol and drug dependency. Our comprehensive program provides emergency department screening, inpatient care, immediate access to medical specialties, including psychiatry, infectious disease, gastroenterology, pain management, and intensive care, as well as spiritual care. Outpatient services, such as education, counseling, support groups, and medically assisted therapies, are also offered. Patients can expect to receive high-quality care in a safe, confidential environment.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Addiction Medicine strongly preferred
  • Eligible for licensure in Massachusetts
