The Clinical Neuroscience Institute (CNSI) is seeking BC/BE general neurologists to join our existing team of over 20 neurologists. CNSI is a growing and dynamic group employed by Premier Health and closely affiliated with Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine. We have a neurology residency program (4 per year) and work with medical students as well. If you enjoy teaching this is an excellent opportunity for you; protected time for teaching and staffing residents will be built into your schedule.
Highlights:
- No stroke call
- Stroke service is provided by our excellent but separate stroke team.
- Evening call is infrequent and taken from home only.
- Hospital coverage is supported by neurology senior residents who are in house 24/7.
- Our general neurology attendings rarely cover weekends (1 to 2 per year at most).
- Your mix of outpatient to inpatient weeks is very flexible depending on your preference.
- EEG reading also completely optional.
- Our Epilepsy team provides full collaborative support with EEG reads for all hospital patients and will read EEGs ordered in the outpatient setting as well.
- If you are experienced and comfortable with EEG you may choose to participate in this service but it is not required.
