General Anesthesiologist

Up to $690K+ | Up to $50K Sign-On | $100K Loan Repayment | Relocation Assistance Up to $15K

Join the Department of Anesthesia at Kaweah Health and become part of a highly collaborative, forward-thinking team dedicated to clinical excellence and education. You’ll work alongside 12 anesthesiologists, 20+ CRNAs, and contribute to an ACGME-accredited residency program with 16 residents.

Practice Highlights:

• Broad and diverse case mix including:
  General, Vascular, Orthopedic, Podiatric, Ophthalmology, GYN, ENT, Plastics, Urology, Neuro, Trauma, and OB

• Blend of resident supervision and independent cases

• 10-hour shifts on non-call days

• 1 out-of-house 24-hour call/week (with resident support)

• Guaranteed post-call day off

Requirements:

• ASA Board Certified or Eligible

• Active California license (prior to start)

• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications

• Passion for teaching and academic involvement

Compensation:

• 1099 Independent Contractor

• $320/hour for OR time

• Opportunity for additional shifts and earnings up to $690K annually

• $50K sign-on bonus (3-year commitment)

• $100K student loan repayment (4-year commitment)

• Additional compensation through GME for faculty involvement

• Annual compensation review based on market

Kaweah Health is seeking a skilled Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join a high-performing, multidisciplinary team in a growing cardiovascular program.

Clinical Scope:

• Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular Surgery

• Structural Heart & Cath Lab cases

• Opportunity to support General OR cases (Ortho, GYN, Trauma, etc.)

• Mix of independent practice and resident supervision

Schedule & Call:

• 8-hour guaranteed shifts (Mon–Fri)

• Cardiac home call: ~1 weekday/week + 1 weekend/month

• Designed for work-life balance and flexibility

Qualifications:

• ABA Board Certified

• Fellowship-trained in Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology

• Certified in Perioperative TEE

• Active California license

• Interest in teaching and mentoring residents

Compensation:

• 1099 structure

• $2,700/day guaranteed (8-hour shifts)

• Call pay: $850 weekday / $1,500 weekend

• ~$700K+ annual earnings

• Up to $50K sign-on bonus
