Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist (Evansville, IN) – Medical Director Role Available!

Deaconess Cross Pointe, a fully accredited 58-bed inpatient facility, is seeking a BC/BE C&A Psychiatrist to join its growing team.

• This is a full-time, inpatient position, with a typical 8-hour day (8:30 am-5:00 pm; Monday through Friday). 
• This position will be a member of DCP Medical Staff Leadership which meets bi-weekly to review monthly schedule, in addition to clinical and program issues.
• Average daily census on the Adult Unit is 26, and the Youth Unit is 12.
• Youth Psychiatric Medical Director Role available for an additional stipend. 
• Share on-call responsibility with other psychiatrists. 
• After hours on-call generally occurs once a week (5pm-8am) and triages intake calls, provides disposition and admission orders.
• 1:10 for weekend on-call with responsibility to triage intake calls and round on inpatients on Saturday and Sunday.
• An Advanced Practice Nurse works every Saturday and Sunday with the psychiatrist. 
• EMR is Epic and is a shared system between all Deaconess clinics and hospitals.
