Trauma Surgeon Wanted in Ohio

Kettering Health, a not-for-profit system of nine hospitals serving Southwest Ohio, is searching for a Trauma Surgeon to join our ACS-verified Level II Trauma Center Program on our Main Campus!

Candidates should be board-certified/board-eligible (BC/BE) in General Surgery and BC/BE in Trauma and/or Surgical Critical Care.

This employed position offers a competitive salary, an extensive benefits package, continuing medical education (CME) support, a transition payment, and paid moving expenses.

 

  • Characteristic patients include blunt force trauma, motorcycle/vehicle injuries, assaults, and falls, with minimal cases of penetrating injuries.  
  • Shift Based Model          
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Averages 130-140 Trauma admissions per month     
  • Additional opportunities include research support, trauma outreach lectures to hospital personnel, and collaboration with Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants on service.
  • Orthopedics, emergency medicine, and general surgery residents will rotate through the program.

 

Candidates will benefit from a dedicated ICU and trauma floor as well as a private office for general surgery outpatient follow-up care. Our comprehensive support system includes a Tele-Trauma Program with all subspecialties represented, including neurosurgery, neurointerventional surgery, and cardiology. Physicians can confidently rely on all available resources and support as part of the employed network.
