Consult Liaison/PCMHI - Psychiatrist opportunity

Carney Hospital, in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, MA, seeks a BC/BE Consult Liaison/PCMHI Psychiatrist to join our expanding Psychiatry staff. Our robust array of services includes a 20-bed adult unit for short-term crisis intervention, a 14-bed adolescent unit, and a 16-bed older adult / geriatric unit. We also have partial hospitalization and outpatient programs. Psychiatrists are supported by an assigned nurse practitioner, unit nurse manager and 2 on unit social workers.

The opportunity to be an integral part of our Consult and Liaison Team and interface with a busy Emergency Department is available, along with career advancement and enhanced income opportunities. The new C&L Psychiatrist will be part of an experienced and collegial team, and qualified candidates are eligible for an academic appointment’s at Tufts University School of Medicine and Boston University School of Medicine.
