Duke Medicine and the Duke Cancer Network are recruiting an additional Hematology-Oncology physician for its affiliated community cancer center in Laurinburg, NC. Hired physicians can be involved in community-based clinical research if desired. Call is consultative only with no rounding responsibilities. Beautiful Center located at Scotland Memorial Hospital offers both hematology/oncology and radiation oncology in the same center with outstanding staff and community support. Practice has 1.5 experienced hem/onc physicians and support from advanced practice providers. There are also 1.5 radiation oncologists.
Laurinburg is only 30 minutes from Pinehurst area, 45 minutes from Fayetteville, and less than 2 hours from Raleigh/Durham, Charlotte, Wilmington, Greensboro, and Myrtle Beach.
