Epic EMR
Cohesive team of hospitalists
Flexible schedule: Enjoy a flexible schedule with an average census of 14 patients per hospitalist, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. When rounding (7am to 7 pm shift), ability to leave at 5 PM while being on-call for the rest of the shift. APP support available during weekdays. Occasional night shifts coverage (< 1 week/year per full time hospitalist) with maximum admissions of 7 patients. Admitting shift (Swing shift) from 1 PM to 1 AM shared among the group with a cap of 10 admissions. Night shift (7pm to 7 am), consists of cross cover and a cap of 7 admissions.
Specialty support:
24/7 Specialist Coverage of general surgery, cardiology, and orthopedic surgery, with additional specialists available during regular hours, including nephrology, endocrinology, electrophysiology and infectious disease, etc.
Tele-ICU and Tele-Stroke services provided by specialists from our Sanford Health hospital in Fargo, ND. We are an open ICU facility with Tele-ICU coverage and 24/7 intensivist support. A low volume of ventilated patients. Majority of ICU patients are non-ventilated admission such as DKA, alcohol withdrawals, respiratory failure on Bipap or HFNC, post-STEMI care, etc.
Procedures are optional and not required for this position. Anesthesia and ER help with intubations. General surgery help with thoracentesis and paracentesis.
Dedicated PICC line team 6 days a week.

Qualifications:
Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Minnesota medical license (or eligible for licensure).
