About Our Community

Mattoon/Charleston is centrally located between Chicago, St. Louis, and Indianapolis; three of the country's larger metropolitan centers. All are reached within two-three hours via interstate highways.

Most employees enjoy a drive to work of less than 15 minutes door-to-door which gives them additional time to spend with their families and doing the sorts of leisure activities they enjoy. The communities offer us a feeling of security as the crime rate is very low. You'll know many of your neighbors and fellow town residents.

Both Mattoon and Charleston have great schools with some private options. College level education is available at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston and at Lake Land College in Mattoon. Recreational activities such as: golf, tennis, horse back riding, water skiing, sailing, camping, canoeing, hiking, fishing, and hunting are abundant in the area. Art, theater, athletic events, and historical sites are locally available as well.
