Wake Forest School of Medicine is Seeking Faculty Position Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon.

 

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation is seeking a full time faculty partner joining an established foot and ankle practice in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

The selected individual will be actively involved in both inpatient and outpatient duties including:

 

  • Candidate is able to treat conditions related to the foot and ankle.

 

  • Orthopaedic and podiatric resident teaching, clinical and laboratory research opportunities available

 

  • Call expectations in alignment with other orthopaedic surgeons not to exceed 4-6 nights per month general orthopaedic call

 

  • Patient care in a busy foot and ankle practice in Winston Salem, North Carolina with potential additional locations to be mutually determined

 

  • 3 foot and ankle and 10 podiatric partners in Department for seamless referrals and collaboration

 

  • APP and clinical support provided

 

  • Eligible for NC Medical License

 

  • Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery with fellowship training in foot and ankle

 

 

Wake Forest School of Medicine’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art evaluation and treatment of orthopedic problems, educating the next Orthopaedic and podiatric surgeons and researching advanced treatments. With over 25 academic locations, 3 research laboratories, 70 faculty, 2 residencies and 6 fellowships we have a wide range of clinical, educational and research compliments.

Our subspecialty Orthopaedic surgeons provided compassionate, high-quality medical care to patients. Interdepartmental consultation across 10 subspecialties and a strong commitment to research and teaching keep the department at the forefront of new developments in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with orthopedic and rehabilitation problems.
