Geriatric Hospitalist
St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Boston, Massachusetts

We are seeking an Inpatient Geriatric Hospitalist for our expanding Surgical Co-Management Service. Over a three-and-a-half-year period, this Service has successfully decreased wait time for surgery, improved patient outcomes, decreased length of stay and addressed geriatric-specific communication with our patients and their families.

This is an exciting full-time opportunity working as an inpatient hospitalist in a successfully growing service. The new hire will divide a week of daytime shifts with our Geriatrician. No nights or call coverage.

The new hire will work with multiple surgical services to manage the nonsurgical needs of our patients. As such, the position requires an interest in working in an integrated and collaborative environment to provide the best possible patient care.

We are seeking a Board-Certified MD/DO in Internal Medicine, with a Specialty in Geriatrics strongly preferred. Experience as a Hospitalist is a plus.

The new hire must have, or will be required to obtain, an active MA License. Competitive guaranteed base salary.
