We are seeking a BC/BE fellowship-trained Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to join our vibrant and growing division of eight attending physicians providing services for over 5,000 deliveries/year.

  • Prime and low-cost-of-living location in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania, home to Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton. Less than 60 minutes to Philadelphia and 90 minutes to midtown Manhattan.
  • Fully flexible position to allow for full-time, part-time or research/teaching employment combinations.
  • Potential earning opportunity to $700,000/year.
  • Consultative-only position with a collegial team consisting of eight physicians, two nurse practitioners, two on-site genetic counselors and a full complement of nurses, 20 MFM sonographers, and friendly and efficient support staff.

  • Clinical appointments at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and onsite teaching at the Temple/St. Lukes School of Medicine.
  • Currently 86 Ob/Gyn physicians and Advanced Practitioners, 5 core subspecialties, 24 Ob/Gyn residents, 2 MIGS fellows and 1 GYN Onc fellow.
  • AIUM accredited ultrasound practice including fetal echocardiography.
  • ISUOG Obstetrical Ultrasound Basic Training Course for Ob/Gyn residents

  • 26 Level III NICU Beds, multiple pediatric subspecialties, busy and fully staffed Diabetes and Pregnancy program, Buprenorphine certified physicians

  • Joseph Bell MD (Division Chief) is principial investigator at St. Luke's in CHAP Study consortium; other ongoing research includes IC-Clear (International Collaborative Cerclage Longitudinal Evaluation and Research)
