Infectious Disease (Evansville, IN) – Sign-On & Competitive Salary!

Deaconess Clinic is seeking a full-time, BC/BE Infectious Disease physician to serve both inpatient and outpatient needs.

• Deaconess Infectious Disease Group:  3 full-time physicians and 4 full-time Advanced Practitioners.

  Locations: Deaconess Midtown Hospital (Evansville, Indiana) & Deaconess Gateway Hospital (Newburgh, Indiana)

  Deaconess Clinic (a multi-specialty clinic with 700+ providers at 50+ locations within the region) is part of a dynamic, successful Health System.  We are a regional referral center for 850,000+ people.  Quality and patient centric care are the focus of our efforts.  The importance of physicians and working together with them is how we are able to excel in this.  We are aligned with multiple hospitals in the region for continued long-term success. 

  Outpatient:

  Average # of patients seen per half day per physician:  12

  Inpatient:

  Coverage at Hospital locations: 1 MD and 1 APP per campus each weekday.  1 MD and 1 APP per weekend.

  Schedule:

  Working 7 days on, 7 days off.  Weekend rotation is 1:2 weekends, rotating holiday coverage.

Additional Information:

• $50,000 sign on opportunity.
• Guarantee for first year of $300,000. Easy to exceed guarantee if willing to see the patients. Income after guarantee is based on combination of productivity and quality bonus.
• Locum coverage is used to supplement call coverage. There is an opportunity to take extra call for additional pay until we recruit to the level needed.
