Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital (JEMH) is seeking a fellowship-trained Abdominal Imager to join a collegial, high-performing Radiology Department within one of the nation’s leading academic health systems.

This is an opportunity to practice the full spectrum of abdominal imaging in a technologically advanced environment while maintaining an academic connection through Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. The position combines a strong clinical practice, resident education, research opportunities, flexible work options, and a manageable call schedule.

The Opportunity

Join a department performing more than 400,000 examinations annually, supported by 30 FTE radiologists, including 9 Abdominal Imagers.

Clinical responsibilities include proficiency across abdominal imaging and ultrasound, including:

• Real-time ultrasound scanning
• Peripheral vascular ultrasound
• Thyroid biopsies
• Ultrasound contrast and elastography
• Spectral CT
• Prostate and rectal MRI
• Fluoroscopy

Academic & Teaching Opportunities

For physicians interested in academics, the position offers meaningful opportunities to teach and mentor the next generation of radiologists:

• Teach within a premier 26-resident Diagnostic Radiology Residency
• Participate in the new IR/DR Residency
• Mentor and supervise medical students and residents

Schedule & Call

The position is designed to provide a sustainable balance between a busy clinical practice and life outside of work.

• Weekend daytime call: approximately 1:7
• Only 3–4 evening shifts every three months
• No overnight call
• Home workstations supporting flexible work shifts

Advanced Imaging Environment

JEMH provides a sophisticated imaging environment with significant investment in technology and infrastructure:

• 6 MRI scanners, including two 3T units
• 9 CT scanners, including dual-energy spectral CT
• State-of-the-art Philips Epiq ultrasound
• Advanced iterative CT software
• Home workstations
• Nuance, Vocera, QGenda and Montage
• Active AI collaborations with multiple technology companies
• System-wide transition to Sectra PACS
