Abdominal Imager
The radiology department, which is fully integrated across all sites, is a hybrid clinical practice with resident training, education, and clinical research integral to the position. We pride ourselves on an egalitarian approach to physician scheduling and compensation and a high level of camaraderie and cooperation among staff radiologists, residents, and technologists.
THE POSITION:
- Clinical: Proficiency in all aspects of abdominal imaging/ultrasound including:
- Real-time US scanning
- Peripheral Vascular US
- Thyroid Biopsies
- US Contrast and Elastography
- Spectral CT
- Prostate and Rectal MRI
- Fluoroscopy
- Teaching - Premier Radiology Residency (26 Residents)
- Participation in Research and Educational Activities including mentorship, supervision and teaching of medical students and residents
- New IR/DR Residency
- Academic affiliation through Sidney Kimmel Medical School of Thomas Jefferson University
- Other- Robust Peer Learning program with opportunities for academic related QA activities
- Call - 1:7 Weekend Days. 3-4 Evenings Every 3 months. No Overnight Call

- More than 400,000 cases per year
- Equipment
- 6 MR scanners including two 3T units
- 9 CT scanners with iterative software and a dual energy spectral scanner
- State of the art Philips Epiq ultrasound scanners
- Web based Fuji PACS with internal IT team
- Home workstations: flexible work shifts
- Other software systems: Nuance, Vocera, Qgenda, Montage, AI collaboration with several companies
- 30 FTE radiologists
- 9 Abdominal Imagers

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- MD or DO from an Accredited Program
- Completion of an Accredited Radiology Residency
- Abdominal / Body Imaging Fellowship or Substantial Abdominal / Body Imaging Experience - Required
- 0-3 years’ experience in Radiology/Abdominal / Body Imaging
- Appropriate Licenses and Certifications
