Baptist Health-Fort Smith is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon to join a busy practice with Baptist Health. Baptist Health-Fort Smith is a 492-bed facility and is the second largest hospital of eleven within Baptist Health, Arkansas’ largest and most comprehensive healthcare system.
This clinic currently has five physicians, four surgeons and one who does injections. The call schedule will be one in five. The physicians in this group currently split their time in the hospital and clinic, usually spending two and one-half days a week in surgery and the other two and one-half days in the clinic. The clinic has casting, lab and x-ray on site and uses Epic for the EMR in the clinic as well as in the hospital. The clinic sees between 250-300 new patients monthly.
