Pediatric Neurology Opportunity with Bon Secours in Richmond, Virginia
Bon Secours Medical Group is hiring a Board-Certified Pediatric Neurologist to support Bon Secours Pediatric Neurology Clinic and St. Mary’s Hospital in providing neurological care to pediatric patients ranging from newborns through teenage years. Our outpatient clinic is located on the campus of St. Mary’s Hospital and offers diagnosis, treatment, and care to pediatric patients with a variety of neurological conditions. St. Mary’s Hospital is a 391-bed facility in Richmond near the West End. St. Mary’s has a dedicated pediatric emergency department, as well as inpatient pediatric intensive care, neonatal intensive care, and general pediatric units. This clinic offers a robust clinical support staff including LPNs, CMAs, and LCSWs.
Position Details:
This Pediatric Neurology opportunity focuses exclusively on clinical practice, with no academic or research component. Physicians see a good mix of general neurological cases including headaches, epilepsy, and a variety of movement disorders. Practice scope includes EEG reading, opportunity to provide sleep studies, and lumbar punctures. There is strong support from nurses and other pediatric subspecialty physicians including Endocrinology, Gastroenterology and Pulmonology. Pediatric Hospitalists are in place to help with admissions and rounding on patients.
