Trauma Surgeon Opportunity in Greater Philadelphia Area

Crozer Health Medical Group has a challenging and rewarding full-time opportunity at a 302 bed tertiary care community teaching hospital for a Trauma Surgeon to join a group of five Surgical Critical Care boarded Acute Care Surgeons. This is an employed position with the Crozer Health Medical Group.

Crozer Chester Medical Center is a Level II Trauma Center that has an established freestanding general residency program. The Trauma Center receives approximately 2500 trauma and burn cases per year. The Regional Burn Center is separately covered by independent burn surgeons.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be certified by the American Board of Surgery. The ideal candidate will be surgical critical care trained and Board- Eligible or Certified in Surgical Critical Care. We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated, have excellent communication skills and are goal-oriented. This position calls for someone with a strong commitment to education for residents and medical students.

• Duties include in-house trauma call, elective and acute care general surgery, and the management of the trauma patients on the ward and ICU.
