During these challenging days after COVID-19 pandemic, Great River Health is proud to be on strong financial footing. From day one, we had a plan to continue to pay our physicians 100% of their compensation during the pandemic. Very few hospitals in the country were able to do that. This is just another reason why our medical staff is proud to be a part of Great River Health.... stability in practice, stability in finance... and working with people who care.
Our docs love it here for different reasons. Some love the 7 weeks off and the ability to easily travel the world from our Midwest location. Others love the AMAZING gym right down the hallway from their clinic. Many of them love the fact that we have no local competition but are big enough to have almost all specialties. Some love the four seasons here in Iowa. Medical Staff with children LOVE that we have one of the top rated daycares in the state ON CAMPUS!! Others love the fact that they can park for free right next to the entrance of their clinic! Many of them love their staff and patients so much, they couldn't imagine working anywhere else. Lots of them love the open door policy with administration. Almost all of them love how easy life is here in Burlington, but how "big city" the health system is.
What would you love about working here? Great River Health is looking for a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our growing program to oversee the growth of this service line. Join a group of 2 other board certified physicians, one psychologist, six counselors and experienced nursing, office and support staff. This is a rare opportunity to build a program from the ground up YOUR way with full support of our board, medical staff and administration. THe mark you will make here will be historical and impact many generations to come. Work 4 or 4.5 days per week in an outpatient only setting. No call. No inpatient work. No telehealth. Just you and your patients.
