Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin (F&MCW) invites applications for Non-Invasive Cardiologists with a full range of cardiovascular services including trans-thoracic echo, TEE, stress tests (echo and nuclear) and telemetry services. The positions would have clinical focuses in either  our community practice or academic/VA facilities.

  • Initial contributions to MCW and departmental missions in the areas of patient care, teaching, clinical research, scholarly activities, and administration/service will be as follows:
    • Patient Care: Clinical activities will be primarily focused on clinic at Brookfield Heart & Vascular Center and hospital coverage at Froedtert Menomonee Falls, Froedtert Main Hospital, and the Zablocki VA.
    • Research, Teaching, and Scholarly Activities: Opportunities for teaching primary care residents  and APPs.
  • Froedtert Menomonee Falls ranked 2nd nationally of top performing complex teaching medical centers.
  • Excellent locations – superb public and private schools and Wisconsin is one of the top ten states for physicians to practice

Position Requirements/Details

  • Board certified or eligible in echocardiography or nuclear cardiology
  • COCATS Level 2 or 3 training in Nuclear Cardiology, COCATS Level 3 training in Echocardiology
  • Board Certification in Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology desired
  • Preferred experience in 3D echocardiography
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin

About the VA

The Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center is located on 245 acres on the western edge of Milwaukee and part of VA Integrated Services Network 12 (VISN 12), which includes facilities in Iron Mountain, Michigan; Tomah and Madison, Wisconsin, and North Chicago, Hines, and Chicago in Illinois. The Medical Center delivers primary, secondary, and tertiary medical care in 196 hospital beds, and provides more than 857,000 visits annually through an extensive outpatient program. The nursing home care unit of 113 beds offers geriatric programming and the 150 domiciliary beds are the focus of programs in Substance Abuse Rehabilitation, Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder care.
