LOCUMS General Surgeon Needed in Kenansville, NC

ECU Health Duplin Hospital, located in Kenansville, NC, is seeking BC General Surgeon to help provide coverage for their team.  New providers will need to come in day before to orient.  

Coverage needed:

Jan 17^th 5pm - 20^th 7am

Jan 31st 5pm - Feb 3^rd 7am

Feb 14^th 5pm - Feb 17^th 7am

Details:

• Both Inpatient & Outpatient
• Call:  Nights, Weekends
• Established Practice with Existing Surgeon
• # of Surgical Cases per month: 65 Cases
• LT will not respond to codes
• ICU /Critical Care Procedures Required
• Support staff 2 MDs, 1 Nurse
• ED has 9 total beds
• Colonoscopy not required for weekend coverage.
• Facilities details:   3 OR, 9 bed ED, 4 bed fast track, 49 bed hospital inpatient
• Procedures:  Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Bowel Obstructions, I & D, EGD, Amputation, Colonoscopy, Strangulated Hernia

In addition to providing general medical and surgical services, ECU Health Duplin offers chemotherapy and other cancer infusion interventions and has earned national designation as a Primary Stroke Center.
