Hospital Medicine - Nocturnist - South Texas - Premium Comp Package

HNI Healthcare and Rio Grande Regional Hospital are currently seeking a Hospitalist/Nocturnist for Full-Time or PRN positions. Experienced physicians are preferred.

Program outline:

• 320 bed, Level III trauma center
• Average 10-14 patients per night with APP support 
• 7 on / 7 off schedule; 6p-6a
• No procedures required.
• Open ICU w/ 24 hour Intensivist coverage
• EMR - Meditech
• Premium compensation package including incentive bonus, commencement bonus, and profit sharing.

A successful candidate for HNI Healthcare possesses the following:

• Board Certified MD or DO with advanced graduate medical education and training FM or IM (preferred).
• Practicing physicians are preferred
• Current, unrestricted, Texas license to practice.
• Current, unrestricted federal, and as-needed state, prescriptive authority.

• A leading edge, modern emergency department with Level III trauma center is located at the main hospital. Two community-based, 24-hour ERs also serve McAllen/Mission and Edinburg.

• The Texas Transplant Institute (TTI) satellite program provides convenient and comfortable care to local patients in need of stem cell transplants.
• Diabetes management services offers a range of services including ongoing care to support groups and self-management classes.
• RGRH provides on-site imaging services and 24-hour laboratory services, including two community-based outpatient labs.
