Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeon Opportunity – Cutting-Edge Facilities and Team Support

Singing River Health System is in search of a highly qualified Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon to become a part of our well-established and thriving practice. Our team is dedicated to a patient-focused, collaborative approach and includes three seasoned CVT surgeons. Position Highlights:

Practice Overview:
- A well-established practice with a robust patient base
- Newly developed hybrid cath lab specifically for structural heart interventions, including TAVR and MitraClip

Referrals:
- Over 500 referrals each year, with a distribution of 60% inpatient and 40% outpatient
- Anticipated patient volume of more than 100 cardiac cases annually

Surgical Support:
- A skilled open-heart surgical team available around the clock
- Dedicated heart operating rooms at all facilities

Call Rotation: 1-in-3 call schedule

Follow-up Care: Initial consultations conducted by surgeons; NP/PA manages follow-ups at 1 week and 1 month

Certification: ABTS Certification is required

Procedures Performed:
- Cardiac Surgery
- Thoracic Surgery
- Carotid Endarterectomies (CEA)
- Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms (AAA)
- Structural Heart Procedures (preferred experience)
